I feel like i’ve become invisible
“As I’ve gotten older, I feel like I’ve become invisible”
A client said this to me recently, and the words hit me with a weight I think many women silently carry.
We spend our youth being seen for our beauty, our energy, our presence. But as the years go on, life gets busy. We pour into our families, our careers, our communities… and somewhere along the way, it can feel like we fade into the background.
Not because we aren’t radiant or powerful or worthy of being seen, but because we stop seeing ourselves.
This client shared that she had started to feel “washed out,” like the features that once made her feel vibrant had faded. She missed feeling expressive, confident, and truly seen.
After her permanent makeup appointment, she told me:
“My brows and eyeliner have given me a new sense of confidence. I feel like myself again and most importantly, I feel visible.”
And that’s the part of permanent makeup that I don’t think gets talked about enough.
It’s not just brows or eyeliner or lip blush.
It’s a quiet reclaiming.
A way of stepping back into your own presence.
When you feel confident in your face, when you recognise the person looking back at you, you move differently. You show up differently. You speak differently. You stop hiding. You stop shrinking. You feel worthy of taking up space again.
Modern permanent makeup is not about changing who you are.
It’s about supporting who you’ve always been.
And for so many women, it becomes the spark that lights that visibility back up.
If you’ve been feeling a little invisible lately… just know you’re not alone. And you absolutely deserve to feel seen by the world, yes, but most importantly, by yourself.
Ready to see the difference?
